Ignore gross salary. Use take-home vs essentials.

2) Look at “Disposable left” first

If disposable is near zero after essentials, life feels tight even on a “good” salary.

3) Stress-test rent

• Raise rent slider to simulate worst-case housing.
• If the score collapses, the move is fragile without cheaper housing.
